৮৩ নং সূরা আত-তাতফীফ

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু [1] وَيلٌ لِلمُطَفِّفينَ [1] যারা মাপে কম করে, তাদের জন্যে দুর্ভোগ, [1] Woe to Al-Mutaffifun (those who give less in measure and weight). [2] الَّذينَ إِذَا اكتالوا عَلَى النّاسِ يَستَوفونَ [2] যারা লোকের কাছ থেকে যখন মেপে নেয়, তখন পূর্ণ মাত্রায় নেয় [2] Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, [3] وَإِذا كالوهُم أَو وَزَنوهُم يُخسِرونَ [3] এবং যখন লোকদেরকে মেপে দেয় কিংবা ওজন করে দেয়, তখন কম করে দেয়। [3] And when they have to give by measure or weight to (other) men, give less than due. [4] أَلا يَظُنُّ أُولٰئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَبعوثونَ [4] তারা কি চিন্তা করে না যে, তারা পুনরুত্থিত হবে। [4] Do they not think that they will be resurrected (for reckoning), [5] لِيَومٍ عَظيمٍ [5] সেই মহাদিবসে, [5] On a Great Day, [6] يَومَ يَقومُ النّاسُ لِرَبِّ العٰلَمينَ [6] যেদিন মানুষ দাঁড়াবে বিশ্ব পালনকর্তার সামনে। [6] The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)? [7] كَلّا إِنَّ كِتٰبَ الفُجّارِ لَفى سِجّينٍ [7] এটা কিছুতেই উচিত নয়, নিশ্চয় পাপাচারীদের আমলনামা সিজ্জীনে আছে। [7] Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjâr (disbelievers, polytheists sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjîn. [8] وَما أَدرىٰكَ ما سِجّينٌ [8] আপনি জানেন, সিজ্জীন কি? [8] And what will make you know what Sijjîn is? [9] كِتٰبٌ مَرقومٌ [9] এটা লিপিবদ্ধ খাতা। [9] A Register inscribed. [10] وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ [10] সেদিন দুর্ভোগ মিথ্যারোপকারীদের, [10] Woe, that Day, to those who deny. [11] الَّذينَ يُكَذِّبونَ بِيَومِ الدّينِ [11] যারা প্রতিফল দিবসকে মিথ্যারোপ করে। [11] Those who deny the Day of Recompense. [12] وَما يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلّا كُلُّ مُعتَدٍ أَثيمٍ [12] প্রত্যেক সীমালংঘনকারী পাপিষ্ঠই কেবল একে মিথ্যারোপ করে। [12] And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience to Allâh), the sinner! [13] إِذا تُتلىٰ عَلَيهِ ءايٰتُنا قالَ أَسٰطيرُ الأَوَّلينَ [13] তার কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হলে সে বলে, পুরাকালের উপকথা। [13] When Our Verses (of the Qur'ân) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" [14] كَلّا ۖ بَل ۜ رانَ عَلىٰ قُلوبِهِم ما كانوا يَكسِبونَ [14] কখনও না, বরং তারা যা করে, তাই তাদের হৃদয় মরিচা ধরিয়ে দিয়েছে। [14] Nay! But on their hearts is the Rân (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn [15] كَلّا إِنَّهُم عَن رَبِّهِم يَومَئِذٍ لَمَحجوبونَ [15] কখনও না, তারা সেদিন তাদের পালনকর্তার থেকে পর্দার অন্তরালে থাকবে। [15] Nay! Surely, they (evil-doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day. [16] ثُمَّ إِنَّهُم لَصالُوا الجَحيمِ [16] অতঃপর তারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে। [16] Then, verily they will indeed enter (and taste) the burning flame of Hell. [17] ثُمَّ يُقالُ هٰذَا الَّذى كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبونَ [17] এরপর বলা হবে, একেই তো তোমরা মিথ্যারোপ করতে। [17] Then, it will be said to them: "This is what you used to deny!" [18] كَلّا إِنَّ كِتٰبَ الأَبرارِ لَفى عِلِّيّينَ [18] কখনও না, নিশ্চয় সৎলোকদের আমলনামা আছে ইল্লিয়্যীনে। [18] Nay! Verily, the Record (writing of the deeds) of Al-Abrâr (the pious and righteous), is (preserved) in 'Illiyyûn. [19] وَما أَدرىٰكَ ما عِلِّيّونَ [19] আপনি জানেন ইল্লিয়্যীন কি? [19] And what will make you know what 'Illiyyûn is? [20] كِتٰبٌ مَرقومٌ [20] এটা লিপিবদ্ধ খাতা। [20] A Register inscribed. [21] يَشهَدُهُ المُقَرَّبونَ [21] আল্লাহর নৈকট্যপ্রাপ্ত ফেরেশতাগণ একে প্রত্যক্ষ করে। [21] To which bear witness those nearest (to Allâh, i.e. the angels). [22] إِنَّ الأَبرارَ لَفى نَعيمٍ [22] নিশ্চয় সৎলোকগণ থাকবে পরম আরামে, [22] Verily, Al-Abrâr (the pious who fear Allâh and avoid evil) will be in Delight (Paradise). [23] عَلَى الأَرائِكِ يَنظُرونَ [23] সিংহাসনে বসে অবলোকন করবে। [23] On thrones, looking (at all things). [24] تَعرِفُ فى وُجوهِهِم نَضرَةَ النَّعيمِ [24] আপনি তাদের মুখমন্ডলে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যের সজীবতা দেখতে পাবেন। [24] You will recognise in their faces the brightness of delight. [25] يُسقَونَ مِن رَحيقٍ مَختومٍ [25] তাদেরকে মোহর করা বিশুদ্ধ পানীয় পান করানো হবে। [25] They will be given to drink of pure sealed wine. [26] خِتٰمُهُ مِسكٌ ۚ وَفى ذٰلِكَ فَليَتَنافَسِ المُتَنٰفِسونَ [26] তার মোহর হবে কস্তুরী। এ বিষয়ে প্রতিযোগীদের প্রতিযোগিতা করা উচিত। [26] The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of Musk, and for this let (all) those strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allâh). [27] وَمِزاجُهُ مِن تَسنيمٍ [27] তার মিশ্রণ হবে তসনীমের পানি। [27] It (that wine) will be mixed with Tasnîm. [28] عَينًا يَشرَبُ بِهَا المُقَرَّبونَ [28] এটা একটা ঝরণা, যার পানি পান করবে নৈকট্যশীলগণ। [28] A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allâh. [29] إِنَّ الَّذينَ أَجرَموا كانوا مِنَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا يَضحَكونَ [29] যারা অপরাধী, তারা বিশ্বাসীদেরকে উপহাস করত। [29] Verily, (during the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. [30] وَإِذا مَرّوا بِهِم يَتَغامَزونَ [30] এবং তারা যখন তাদের কাছ দিয়ে গমন করত তখন পরস্পরে চোখ টিপে ইশারা করত। [30] And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery); [31] وَإِذَا انقَلَبوا إِلىٰ أَهلِهِمُ انقَلَبوا فَكِهينَ [31] তারা যখন তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছে ফিরত, তখনও হাসাহাসি করে ফিরত। [31] And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; [32] وَإِذا رَأَوهُم قالوا إِنَّ هٰؤُلاءِ لَضالّونَ [32] আর যখন তারা বিশ্বাসীদেরকে দেখত, তখন বলত, নিশ্চয় এরা বিভ্রান্ত। [32] And when they saw them, they said: "Verily, these have indeed gone astray!" [33] وَما أُرسِلوا عَلَيهِم حٰفِظينَ [33] অথচ তারা বিশ্বাসীদের তত্ত্বাবধায়করূপে প্রেরিত হয়নি। [33] But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). [34] فَاليَومَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا مِنَ الكُفّارِ يَضحَكونَ [34] আজ যারা বিশ্বাসী, তারা কাফেরদেরকে উপহাস করছে। [34] But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers [35] عَلَى الأَرائِكِ يَنظُرونَ [35] সিংহাসনে বসে, তাদেরকে অবলোকন করছে, [35] On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). [36] هَل ثُوِّبَ الكُفّارُ ما كانوا يَفعَلونَ [36] কাফেররা যা করত, তার প্রতিফল পেয়েছে তো? [36] Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?
