৮৭নং সূরা আল-আ'লা

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু [1] سَبِّحِ اسمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعلَى [1] আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন [1] Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, [2] الَّذى خَلَقَ فَسَوّىٰ [2] যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন ও সুবিন্যস্ত করেছেন। [2] Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; [3] وَالَّذى قَدَّرَ فَهَدىٰ [3] এবং যিনি সুপরিমিত করেছেন ও পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন [3] And Who has measured (preordainments for everything even to be blessed or wretched); and then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); [4] وَالَّذى أَخرَجَ المَرعىٰ [4] এবং যিনি তৃণাদি উৎপন্ন করেছেন, [4] And Who brings out the pasturage, [5] فَجَعَلَهُ غُثاءً أَحوىٰ [5] অতঃপর করেছেন তাকে কাল আবর্জনা। [5] And then makes it dark stubble [6] سَنُقرِئُكَ فَلا تَنسىٰ [6] আমি আপনাকে পাঠ করাতে থাকব, ফলে আপনি বিস্মৃত হবেন না [6] We shall make you to recite (the Qur'ân), so you (O Muhammad (SAW)) shall not forget (it), [7] إِلّا ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ يَعلَمُ الجَهرَ وَما يَخفىٰ [7] আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন তা ব্যতীত। নিশ্চয় তিনি জানেন প্রকাশ্য ও গোপন বিষয়। [7] Except what Allâh, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. [8] وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِليُسرىٰ [8] আমি আপনার জন্যে সহজ শরীয়ত সহজতর করে দেবো। [8] And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (SAW)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). [9] فَذَكِّر إِن نَفَعَتِ الذِّكرىٰ [9] উপদেশ ফলপ্রসূ হলে উপদেশ দান করুন, [9] Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them) [10] سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخشىٰ [10] যে ভয় করে, সে উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে, [10] The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allâh), [11] وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الأَشقَى [11] আর যে, হতভাগা, সে তা উপেক্ষা করবে, [11] But it will be avoided by the wretched, [12] الَّذى يَصلَى النّارَ الكُبرىٰ [12] সে মহা-অগ্নিতে প্রবেশ করবে। [12] Who will enter the great Fire (and whill be made to taste its burning). [13] ثُمَّ لا يَموتُ فيها وَلا يَحيىٰ [13] অতঃপর সেখানে সে মরবেও না, জীবিতও থাকবে না। [13] There he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). [14] قَد أَفلَحَ مَن تَزَكّىٰ [14] নিশ্চয় সাফল্য লাভ করবে সে, যে শুদ্ধ হয় [14] Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islâmic Monotheism) shall achieve success, [15] وَذَكَرَ اسمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلّىٰ [15] এবং তার পালনকর্তার নাম স্মরণ করে, অতঃপর নামায আদায় করে। [15] And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allâh), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawâfil — additional prayers). [16] بَل تُؤثِرونَ الحَيوٰةَ الدُّنيا [16] বস্তুতঃ তোমরা পার্থিব জীবনকে অগ্রাধিকার দাও, [16] Nay, you prefer the life of this world, [17] وَالءاخِرَةُ خَيرٌ وَأَبقىٰ [17] অথচ পরকালের জীবন উৎকৃষ্ট ও স্থায়ী। [17] Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. [18] إِنَّ هٰذا لَفِى الصُّحُفِ الأولىٰ [18] এটা লিখিত রয়েছে পূর্ববতী কিতাবসমূহে; [18] Verily, this is in the former Scriptures — [19] صُحُفِ إِبرٰهيمَ وَموسىٰ [19] ইব্রাহীম ও মূসার কিতাবসমূহে। [19] The Scriptures of Ibrâhim (Abraham) and Mûsa (Moses).
