৮১ নং সূরা আত-তাকভীর

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু [1] إِذَا الشَّمسُ كُوِّرَت [1] যখন সূর্য আলোহীন হয়ে যাবে, [1] When the sun is wound round and lost its light (is lost and is overthrown). [2] وَإِذَا النُّجومُ انكَدَرَت [2] যখন নক্ষত্র মলিন হয়ে যাবে, [2] And when the stars fall; [3] وَإِذَا الجِبالُ سُيِّرَت [3] যখন পর্বতমালা অপসারিত হবে, [3] And when the mountains are made to pass away; [4] وَإِذَا العِشارُ عُطِّلَت [4] যখন দশ মাসের গর্ভবতী উষ্ট্রীসমূহ উপেক্ষিত হবে; [4] And when the pregnant she-camels are be neglected; [5] وَإِذَا الوُحوشُ حُشِرَت [5] যখন বন্য পশুরা একত্রিত হয়ে যাবে, [5] And when the wild beasts are gathered together; [6] وَإِذَا البِحارُ سُجِّرَت [6] যখন সমুদ্রকে উত্তাল করে তোলা হবে, [6] And when the seas become as blazing Fire or overflow; [7] وَإِذَا النُّفوسُ زُوِّجَت [7] যখন আত্মাসমূহকে যুগল করা হবে, [7] And when the souls are joined with their bodies (the good with the good and bad with the bad). [8] وَإِذَا المَوءۥدَةُ سُئِلَت [8] যখন জীবন্ত প্রোথিত কন্যাকে জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে, [8] And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) is questioned. [9] بِأَىِّ ذَنبٍ قُتِلَت [9] কি অপরাধে তাকে হত্য করা হল? [9] For what sin was she killed? [10] وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَت [10] যখন আমলনামা খোলা হবে, [10] And when the (written) pages [of deeds (good and bad) of every person] are laid open; [11] وَإِذَا السَّماءُ كُشِطَت [11] যখন আকাশের আবরণ অপসারিত হবে, [11] And when the heaven is stripped off and taken away from its place; [12] وَإِذَا الجَحيمُ سُعِّرَت [12] যখন জাহান্নামের অগ্নি প্রজ্বলিত করা হবে [12] And when Hell-fire is set ablaze. [13] وَإِذَا الجَنَّةُ أُزلِفَت [13] এবং যখন জান্নাত সন্নিকটবর্তী হবে, [13] And when Paradise is brought near, [14] عَلِمَت نَفسٌ ما أَحضَرَت [14] তখন প্রত্যেকেই জেনে নিবে সে কি উপস্থিত করেছে। [14] (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). [15] فَلا أُقسِمُ بِالخُنَّسِ [15] আমি শপথ করি যেসব নক্ষত্রগুলো পশ্চাতে সরে যায়। [15] So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). [16] الجَوارِ الكُنَّسِ [16] চলমান হয় ও অদৃশ্য হয়, [16] And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, [17] وَالَّيلِ إِذا عَسعَسَ [17] শপথ নিশাবসান ও [17] And by the night as it departs; [18] وَالصُّبحِ إِذا تَنَفَّسَ [18] প্রভাত আগমন কালের, [18] And by the dawn as it brightens; [19] إِنَّهُ لَقَولُ رَسولٍ كَريمٍ [19] নিশ্চয় কোরআন সম্মানিত রসূলের আনীত বাণী, [19] Verily, this is the Word (this Qur'ân brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrail (Gabriel), from Allâh to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)] [20] ذى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى العَرشِ مَكينٍ [20] যিনি শক্তিশালী, আরশের মালিকের নিকট মর্যাদাশালী, [20] Owner of power, (and high rank) with (Allâh) the Lord of the Throne, [21] مُطاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمينٍ [21] সবার মান্যবর, সেখানকার বিশ্বাসভাজন। [21] Obeyed (by the angels in the heavens) and trustworthy. [22] وَما صاحِبُكُم بِمَجنونٍ [22] এবং তোমাদের সাথী পাগল নন। [22] And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (SAW)) is not a madman; [23] وَلَقَد رَءاهُ بِالأُفُقِ المُبينِ [23] তিনি সেই ফেরেশতাকে প্রকাশ্য দিগন্তে দেখেছেন। [23] And indeed he (Muhammad (SAW)) saw him [Jibril (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east) [24] وَما هُوَ عَلَى الغَيبِ بِضَنينٍ [24] তিনি অদৃশ্য বিষয় বলতে কৃপনতা করেন না। [24] And he (Muhammad (SAW)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. [25] وَما هُوَ بِقَولِ شَيطٰنٍ رَجيمٍ [25] এটা বিতাড়িত শয়তানের উক্তি নয়। [25] And it (the Qur'ân) is not the word of the outcast Shaitân (Satan). [26] فَأَينَ تَذهَبونَ [26] অতএব, তোমরা কোথায় যাচ্ছ? [26] Then where are you going? [27] إِن هُوَ إِلّا ذِكرٌ لِلعٰلَمينَ [27] এটা তো কেবল বিশ্বাবাসীদের জন্যে উপদেশ, [27] Verily, this (the Qur'ân) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinn). [28] لِمَن شاءَ مِنكُم أَن يَستَقيمَ [28] তার জন্যে, যে তোমাদের মধ্যে সোজা চলতে চায়। [28] To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, [29] وَما تَشاءونَ إِلّا أَن يَشاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ العٰلَمينَ [29] তোমরা আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীনের অভিপ্রায়ের বাইরে অন্য কিছুই ইচ্ছা করতে পার না। [29] And you cannot will, unless (it be) that Allâh wills, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
