৮৯ নং সূরা আল-ফজর

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু [1] وَالفَجرِ [1] শপথ ফজরের, [1] By the dawn; [2] وَلَيالٍ عَشرٍ [2] শপথ দশ রাত্রির, শপথ তার, [2] By the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hîjjah) , [3] وَالشَّفعِ وَالوَترِ [3] যা জোড় ও যা বিজোড় [3] And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allâh) [4] وَالَّيلِ إِذا يَسرِ [4] এবং শপথ রাত্রির যখন তা গত হতে থাকে [4] And by the night when it departs [5] هَل فى ذٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِذى حِجرٍ [5] এর মধ্যে আছে শপথ জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তির জন্যে। [5] There is indeed in them (the above oaths) sufficient proofs for men of understanding (and that, they should avoid all kinds of sins and disbeliefs)! [6] أَلَم تَرَ كَيفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعادٍ [6] আপনি কি লক্ষ্য করেননি, আপনার পালনকর্তা আদ বংশের ইরাম গোত্রের সাথে কি আচরণ করেছিলেন, [6] Saw you (O Muhammad (SAW)) not how your Lord dealt with 'Ad (people) [7] إِرَمَ ذاتِ العِمادِ [7] যাদের দৈহিক গঠন স্তম্ভ ও খুঁটির ন্যায় দীর্ঘ ছিল এবং [7] Of Iram (Who were very tall) like (lofty) pillars, [8] الَّتى لَم يُخلَق مِثلُها فِى البِلٰدِ [8] যাদের সমান শক্তি ও বলবীর্যে সারা বিশ্বের শহরসমূহে কোন লোক সৃজিত হয়নি [8] The like of which were not created in the land? [9] وَثَمودَ الَّذينَ جابُوا الصَّخرَ بِالوادِ [9] এবং সামুদ গোত্রের সাথে, যারা উপত্যকায় পাথর কেটে গৃহ নির্মাণ করেছিল। [9] And (with) Thamûd (people), who hewed out rocks in the valley (to make dwellings)? [10] وَفِرعَونَ ذِى الأَوتادِ [10] এবং বহু কীলকের অধিপতি ফেরাউনের সাথে [10] And (with) Fir'aun (Pharaoh), who had the stakes (to torture men by binding them to stakes)? [11] الَّذينَ طَغَوا فِى البِلٰدِ [11] যারা দেশে সীমালঙ্ঘন করেছিল। [11] Who did transgress beyond bounds in the lands (in the disobedience of Allâh). [12] فَأَكثَروا فيهَا الفَسادَ [12] অতঃপর সেখানে বিস্তর অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করেছিল। [12] And made therein much mischief. [13] فَصَبَّ عَلَيهِم رَبُّكَ سَوطَ عَذابٍ [13] অতঃপর আপনার পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে শাস্তির কশাঘাত করলেন। [13] So your Lord poured on them different kinds of severe torment. [14] إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالمِرصادِ [14] নিশ্চয় আপনার পালকর্তা সতর্ক দৃষ্টি রাখেন। [14] Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them). [15] فَأَمَّا الإِنسٰنُ إِذا مَا ابتَلىٰهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقولُ رَبّى أَكرَمَنِ [15] মানুষ এরূপ যে, যখন তার পালনকর্তা তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, অতঃপর সম্মান ও অনুগ্রহ দান করেন, তখন বলে, আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে সম্মান দান করেছেন। [15] As for man, when his Lord tries him by giving him honour and bounties, then he says (in): "My Lord has honoured me." [16] وَأَمّا إِذا مَا ابتَلىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيهِ رِزقَهُ فَيَقولُ رَبّى أَهٰنَنِ [16] এবং যখন তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, অতঃপর রিযিক সংকুচিত করে দেন, তখন বলেঃ আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে হেয় করেছেন। [16] But when He tries him, by straitening his means of life, he says: "My Lord has humiliated me!" [17] كَلّا ۖ بَل لا تُكرِمونَ اليَتيمَ [17] এটা অমূলক, বরং তোমরা এতীমকে সম্মান কর না। [17] Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and generosity (i.e. you neither treat them well, nor give them their exact right of inheritance)! [18] وَلا تَحٰضّونَ عَلىٰ طَعامِ المِسكينِ [18] এবং মিসকীনকে অন্নদানে পরস্পরকে উৎসাহিত কর না। [18] And urge not one another on the feeding of AlMiskîn (the poor)! [19] وَتَأكُلونَ التُّراثَ أَكلًا لَمًّا [19] এবং তোমরা মৃতের ত্যাজ্য সম্পত্তি সম্পূর্ণরূপে কুক্ষিগত করে ফেল [19] And you devour inheritance all with greed, [20] وَتُحِبّونَ المالَ حُبًّا جَمًّا [20] এবং তোমরা ধন-সম্পদকে প্রাণভরে ভালবাস। [20] And you love wealth with much love! [21] كَلّا إِذا دُكَّتِ الأَرضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا [21] এটা অনুচিত। যখন পৃথিবী চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ হবে [21] Nay! When the earth is ground to powder, [22] وَجاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا [22] এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা ও ফেরেশতাগণ সারিবদ্ধভাবে উপস্থিত হবেন, [22] And your Lord comes with the angels in rows, [23] وَجِا۟يءَ يَومَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَومَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإِنسٰنُ وَأَنّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكرىٰ [23] এবং সেদিন জাহান্নামকে আনা হবে, সেদিন মানুষ স্মরণ করবে, কিন্তু এই স্মরণ তার কি কাজে আসবে? [23] And Hell will be brought near that Day. On that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance (then) avail him? [24] يَقولُ يٰلَيتَنى قَدَّمتُ لِحَياتى [24] সে বলবেঃ হায়, এ জীবনের জন্যে আমি যদি কিছু অগ্রে প্রেরণ করতাম! [24] He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!" [25] فَيَومَئِذٍ لا يُعَذِّبُ عَذابَهُ أَحَدٌ [25] সেদিন তার শাস্তির মত শাস্তি কেউ দিবে না। [25] So on that Day, none will punish as He will punish [26] وَلا يوثِقُ وَثاقَهُ أَحَدٌ [26] এবং তার বন্ধনের মত বন্ধন কেউ দিবে না। [26] And none will bind (the wicked, disbelivers and polytheists) as He will bind. [27] يٰأَيَّتُهَا النَّفسُ المُطمَئِنَّةُ [27] হে প্রশান্ত মন, [27] (It will be said to the pious — believers of Islamic Monothesim): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! [28] ارجِعى إِلىٰ رَبِّكِ راضِيَةً مَرضِيَّةً [28] তুমি তোমার পালনকর্তার নিকট ফিরে যাও সন্তুষ্ট ও সন্তোষভাজন হয়ে। [28] "Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)! [29] فَادخُلى فى عِبٰدى [29] অতঃপর আমার বান্দাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাও। [29] "Enter you, then, among My (honoured) slaves, [30] وَادخُلى جَنَّتى [30] এবং আমার জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর। [30] "And enter you My Paradise!"
